Leftbass Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 I'm thinking of selling a set of SD Quarter Pounders. What's holding me back is looking at the cover of the J pickup the poles are set in a bit whereras the P are flush! There's nothing to stop the winding going right in. Anyone have thoughts on this. It seems a bit odd but may be normal?? Quote
jimbobothy Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 … can the pickup under the cover be pushed up so the pole pieces are flush or stick out a bit? Normally there is a piece of foam or springs under the pickup in the body cavity that do this when installed IIRC. Quote
Leftbass Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 Thanks Jimbob, no, there's no obstruction and the poles are flush with the winding board! I wonder if the poles can move up 🤔 Quote
