kwmlondon Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Hi. I'm looking for a parts supplier to get a replacement for this specific 6.35mm input jack that was soldered directly the PCB. I've bodged a fix that works ... as long as there's an instrument plugged in! There's clearly some kind of switching taking place that I've not got duplicated on my fix so I'd really like to get a replacement part. I've tried ebay and RS but this seems a bit more specialist. Any suggestions gratefully received! Quote

JapanAxe Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 I’ve had a look but I have nothing that matches that shape or pin pattern 1 Quote

I guess I could contact the UK Hartke supplier. I wonder if that'd work? https://www.actionhardware.co.uk/parts-online/index.php?route=product/product&path=34_84&product_id=604 Quote

kwmlondon Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 This is pretty much it, but it's the stereo version. It's got all the switching, but it's not mono. I wonder if it would work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384309567042?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=43YsHyVtRtG&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=KfK81-euT2O&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Quote

lemmywinks Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 (edited) If you Google "6.35mm 7 pin headphone" you can find a few, make sure you pick one with a taller base as most look like they sit flush with the PCB, yours is raised a little. The type B one here might work, then again it might not. Surely half the fun is finding out? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33011028130.html EDIT Cheaper here. plus it's a Choice item so you can buy another £6 worth of tat to get free shipping: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32756981350.html Edited December 1, 2024 by lemmywinks 1 Quote

I've been searching but didn't find anything looking for 7 pin headphone but that's exactly what I need! Cheers! Don't know what I'm doing to do with the other 9, though they seem to be likely to fail so good to have a spare... Really appreciate your help and I'll let you know when they arrive and I can get my soldering iron out again! Quote
