Trade Only - Fender Flea Active Jazz Bass £1750 Chesham

£1750 trade value, not thinking of selling it atm. 
 

Very reluctant listing, the bass is stunning but too long for my neck and back issues -  the nut sits a touch further away than a 20 fret Jazz as this has 22 frets. Unfortunately I’m already at my comfort limit with a regular 20 fret Jazz. 
 

Amazing tone, extremely authoritative and punchy - with a Aguilar preamp and Tim Shaw specially designed pickup.

 

Quatersawn neck with a compound radius, so the fingerboard gets flatter as you go up the frets. Can get a silly low action if you want it. Feels spot on. 

These were only made for about 2-3 years, this one from 2019. 

 

Comes with original case and all candy. 
 

Only 2 tiny marks on the back, as shown in photos. They are easy to miss, as you can see from the outside photos.

 

Weighs approx 9.33lbs / 4.23kg
 

Trades:

- EBMM StingRay - preferably a Special due to the ergonomics, but might consider a pre-2018 as well (No slab bodies please). 

- might also consider a EBMM Sterling (USA) 

 

Due to health issues affecting travel I’d need a deal to be done in Chesham, I’m pretty reluctant to do this by post. 
 

I’m not any hurry to swap, I may just end up keeping this Under the Couch and bringing it out when I feel like I don’t have a partner, playing high on the dusty end  

 

Honestly, really gutted to be listing this bass.

Having looked for a very long time I speak from experience when I say that these do not come up for sale very often, which usually means they're so good once people have them they keep them.

Well, I would go Modulus territory again if @hiram.k.hackenbacker lost his mind and sold me back the purple one 😢🤣
