Very interested in this.

How is it?

I've only gigged it once. Used it with the 'ring' switch on. Very nice, tight, funky sound.

It's slightly quirky, which I like, not in a crazy glitchy way, just enough to give it a little character.

The bass switch cleans and warms up the sound giving a nice low synthy vibe.

The only drawback is the volume is a little lower in bass only mode.

But, and I mean this, it looks so very cool, and that's vital.

It's also very cheap, which sounds good to me!

I'm trying to decide on a route to some synth-like tones and if I go the individual pedals route, I'll need an octave pedal.

I haven't seen too many bass reviews (and I don't really know what I'm looking for in terms of an octave pedal for this outcome) so it's good to hear that it works.

If you're specifically interested in building your own synth sounds, I recommend the Poly Blue by MXR.

Thanks.

I've looked at it (just re-watched a few reviews), but I keep coming back to a SA C4.

I've built some synth patches in my Boss GT1-B which sound useable, but not spectacular. I've also started using the -1 Octave settings and messed around with that. I just don't really know which way to go.

And my budget is tiny! Hence the Behringer interest. Although a TC Nether can be found cheaper.

There's a TC Nether for 20 quid on FB now. Any octave pedal combined with fuzz or distortion and chorus will do tla job.

The SA C4 is excellent but you have to be prepared to build your sounds on a screen and hope they work in the band
