Slipknot?

January 23: Curis Counce (1926); Bill Cunningham (1950) and Nicholas Harmer (1975) (Death Cab For Cutie?) for me.

Nice idea for a site but it needs to link & references to Basschat please..

And also, being selfish, please can you include references to Wal basses and Leigh Gorman (BowWowWow)..
Very biased I know, but you've got to ask haven't you.. :)

A thousand apologies! We'll get Basschat up right away. Don't know how we could have overlooked it!

Wal was on our list, but they don't seem to have a website. Anybody?

We'll get Leigh Gorman up, too. Thanks for the heads-up.

The Wal site is just a holding page at the moment, but once production is up and running again it will be here.

You're also missing the following luthiers/manufacturers (all from my bass collection)
Born To Rock
Gus
Lace
Lightwave
Sei
Tokai

Also it would be nice to see Mick Karn on the players page.

Or possibly Paul Gray as in 'Eddie and the Hotrods', 'UFO' and 'The Damned' - not 100% sure about the damned, but he defintely toured with Captain Sensible's band. Awesome Gibson Thunderbird tone and WHAT A PLAYER!

Jazz.

Typical. :)

Saw him a while back and he's quite a bit broader than "jazz" might suggest. Lots African influences, melody, sence of humour ..

yep, he was in the Damned between The Hotrods and UFO. He replaced Algy Ward after Machine Gun Etiquette. I think he does a column in BGM.

Ooh, I dunno. I have a lot of time and respect for Rolf Harris, especially considering his innovative version of 'Stairway To Heaven'!
Not to mention his expertise on the Didgeridoo, Wobble Board and Stylophone. Even more so, with the paintbrush.
Rolf rules!

Thanks for doing those. Another suggestion I'd like to make is for Dennis Dunaway to be included in the bass player's section.. His site is here:

Thanks :)
