Absolutely. What I meant was that you have to try really hard to produce something worse than Gibson. Someone has tried really, really hard.

No I would imagine someone put another pickup on it, routed out the front to get between the pickups and to the controls, then someone else got it, took it out and put that over. You certainly wouldn't buy that without saying 'hey can I have a pictue with the pickguard off?'
