Is there someone in the USA who can order small parts (only available for the USA) from Ernie Ball and send them to me in a padded envelope?

 

It's not much, but I would appreciate to have these spare parts.

Have you already tried the UK distributor Strings and Things? I ordered pickup covers from them a couple of years ago and they were really helpful.

Have you tried contacting them directly? It was years ago now, but they sent me some saddles for my 80s Stingray at no charge - was very impressed with how helpful they were. 

 

I just emailed them with a pic of the bass and serial number.

I too have bought various parts for my Stingrays from Strings and Things. Maybe the Belgian distributor is similarly helpful?

I can confirm that Strings and Things in the UK are super helpful. I bought a second hand Ray 34 last year, and it was only after I got it home that I noticed the "treble side" machine head was bent. Strings and Things sent a replacement free of charge after I made an enquiry about spare parts. If you have no joy with the Belgian distributor, perhaps one of us Basschatters in the UK could try getting the parts for you and sending them on. Worth noting that most it not all parts on the US made Stingrays are not compatible with the Indonesian made Rays.

I have an address in the USA that you are welcome to send the parts to. There would a charge for getting them to me and forwarding them to you, but it solves the problem.
