I recently strained my thumb and have to wear a brace (picture supplied!). The physio recommended training up to get some strength and so I bought these two tools.

 

One is a finger strengthener the other is a sort of portable fretboard thing.

 

The hand strengthener helped a lot. 
 

Hand is much better now, so taking up space.
