LSS
Hi! North Essex boy living in Portugal (Lisbon-ish) for 30 years here Originally hail from near Brightlingsea First attempt at playing music this year in February, started bass Was a early teen pocket punk just catching end of it 78/79, so real punk is my roots But I'm as old as Sgt Pepper so that is in my DNA, as is Rock Steady, two-tone etc No talent but can just about stumble through 5 or 6 clash songs and a few other things so far - loving it - feels great! No aims to gig or play in a band - just having fun Sailing is my thing (not posh sailing though, I'm an East Coast ditch crawler), used to be dinghies, then windsurfing in 80's - 2000's, now ETAP 22 www.leighsutherland.com Started on my daughter's Standard Series P Bass Special (early 2000's? I think its one of these anyway) on her Squire BP-15 combo Then got a Marcus Miller 2nd Gen V3 Satin Black 4-string which I love Then got a HOTONE Thunder Bass which I used with my little Harmon Kardon BT speaker or phones, which I quite liked Then got a MarkBass MARCUS MILLER CMD 101 MICRO 60 Then I made a cab with a Celestion PULSE XL 10.20 Bass speaker https://www.talkbass.com/threads/celestion-pulse-xl-10-40-cab.1657920/ Then got a Marcus Miller 2nd Gen P7 Antique White 4-string which I also love Then I got an EHX Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi which is fab oh dear - this reminds me of windsurfing ...... Anyway - too much info no doubt, but a big hello from way down south! Leigh Edited December 13 by LSS

Usually this develops over time but it's good to see you excelling so early 🤣 You also have achieved 100% of what I think music is all about......having fun 👍 Looking forward to hearing how your journey progresses.
