IME some pedals aren't sympathetic to other pedals in the chain

2 examples of pedals which are truly fantastic  on their own but either overpowered or underperformed with others would be the Sadowsky Pre and the old Diamond BCP-1 ( SGFX /Diamond seem to have fixed the problem with the relaunched Comp/EQ)

A pedal I think goes great with other units is the Crowther Audio "Prunes and Custard" it seems to do all sorts of goodness with OD , Filter, Chorus. Not the easiest pedal to find but certainly worth a bo peep

What pedals do you guys like for their interaction styles ?

Warm Audio Mutation Phasor II into an Aguilar Grape Phasor. WA does slow Phasor rates well, the Aguilar does the higher rates well, run both together and it sounds almost like an envelope filter, only imho much better. My latest go to funky setup.

Ooh, I’m currently in possession of two phase pedals, might have to give this a go!

EAE Model Fet + EAE Dagger (or pretty much any mid to high gain drive).

Also the Origin Cali76 and DCX Bass compliment each other wonderfully.

If I ever wanted a mini board I thing it'd be all 4 + a tuner.

Tuner > Cali76 > Dagger > DCX > Model Fet

Perfection 👌
