Squier mini p bass string options?

I’m sure this has been asked but I can’t find much other than “probably not these, these ones might work” type posts. 
 

Anyone have one and can comment on what strings are an option for these tiny basses? 
and more importantly which ones work well with it?

I prefer flatwounds so I put a short scale set of status hotwires on mine, as I had a spare set, but as they are no longer available, I would probably use ECB81S Chromes if I got another mini P.

Thanks, I went with d’addario short scale and they’re working well. I wanted flatwounds but didn’t want to waste the money if they wouldn’t work. I’ll look into these for the future

Just to add to this for information, I would go for the labella mini P bass flats next time, don’t try labella LTF’s short scale as I did because the E string snapped, I had a set of Rotosound Jazz Bass Flatwound Monel 40-90 Bass Guitar Strings, Short Scale in the drawer and they on mine now and sounding good
