Jakobus22
For sale: my 2004 candy red Bongo 5 HHp in good condition. It's got only 3 minor dings. This really is a beautiful bass! Endless tonal variety. It also has a Piezo element, but the B-string isn't responding well. A luthier said it's probably a loose wire. It comes with a hardshell case and the original pickguard. I am looking for £900. I am based in the Netherlands, so postage will be around 30 pounds. Edited July 22, 2009 by Jakobus22

I had a similar problem with mine and i noticed that if you raise it slightly off the base plate (mine was as low as it could go) it cures it. I think it must short out against the earth????? either way it worked on mine. Cheers Dave
