Just had an attack of the vapours and ordered a vintage bass - i cant help it, was drooling over it and the devil on my shoulder said, go on you deserve this and you're getting regular gigs, go on. Anyway the angel on my other shoulder says I can't have such an ace bass as a back up, so funds needed.

 

Yamaha BBP34 bought new this year- as played by Vincen Garcia (makes you sick doesn't he - amazing) Corey McCormick, Jack Gibson, and others who choose Yamaha BB's like Hooky and Abraham Laboriel.

 

My action is super low with TI flats and they go with this bass like a dream.- I can throw in the original strings that havent been played - The range of tone is stellar - by far the best bass i have had the pleasure to own for a while - The bottom line is, I would love to keep it but can't afford both at the moment and it's far far far too good to be playing second bass on stage.

 

If you've played BBs then you know how good they are, if you haven't then don't sleep on these they are killer. So easy to play with a slim satin feel neck - absolutely no fret ends, slightly rounded off feel. Dark rosewood baord. A stunning old sunburst finish. in house pickups - give neck a great P sound and neck pickup gives the grunt - together though, thats where this bass absolutely shines.

 

Comes with Yamaha black Tolex locakable case that fits it like a glove - a little wallet with person who made it in Japan's signature and allen keys etc.

 

9.lb in weight but on doesnt feel it - as it's got a great distribution of weight.
