Hi all,

first, I have to say, I should have chosen carefully the name by which I would like to be known!

 

I have played bass for a while. I'm still working on becoming a serious musician. Mostly, I play "world Music". From time to time I play the standard Popular Music repertoire and Jazz repertoire. I cannot really say much more, as there is not much more to say.

My son was explaining to me on Boxing Day, in a discussion about cultural assumptions and language use, that there is one culture that assumes the future is behind you. The reasoning being that you cannot see the future, but you can look into the past, therefore the past is in front of you and the future behind you.

 

So welcome back.
