My playlist of 2024

So I took up learning the bass at the beginning of 2024. This past years learning the bass has been thoroughly enjoyable. My dad was a bass player, with his claim to fame being he played in a band in the 60's called the Boulevards with Tony Clarkin of Magnum.

With learning the bass, comes with going on a musical journey and listening to a lot of Music. I've created a playlist of the Music I've found myself listening to the most this year and thought I would share it with you folk. I've gravitated to a lot of Jazz/Jazz fusion.. primarily from Japanese bass players although there are players from the UK, US and Iceland in there. Tomohito Aoki, is who I would say is my Bass hero. He is just a phenomenal player, and Mark King was a wizard from the get go!

Take a listen, maybe a song is on there that you've never heard before, but think... gee that sounds quite good!
