New Sadowsky UV70 on the way?

I’ve had my eye on the UV70 for a while, they don’t come up for sale very often (yes, I know there’s one available in the basses for sale section) and when they do I’ve not been in a position to buy

 

I’ve watched the Warwick / Sadowsky partnership expand with some interesting basses in both the metroline and metroexpress ranges, but so far, no UV70.

I always thought of it as a bass that is held in high regard by many, so it prompted me to ask a question in the Sadowsky metro group on FB

Good call. I bought an Metro RV5 direct from Sadowsky and a UV70 5 back in 2013/2014..They are as good as jazz basses get imo. Both cost £1750 back then.

Have you still got them?

 

The latest Sadowsky metroexpress basses look great and the range is constantly expanding, the Will Lee looks good

I don't unfortunately. The RV5 is in the middle. I traded it with a CS Jazz. The UV went way back for the SR5 on the left. The SR5 was utterly killer.

There's a Japanese made UV70 for sale on here and for which I'm hoping for a sudden and inexplicable windfall.
