Best tuner app

This is a bit of a weird one, but the last gig I played my tuner started playing up a bit. Thankfully I had a spare (go me).

 

I wanted to know what the best tuner app you had used was or would recommend to me. Free if possible!

Try the Boss app, it's totally free and works on Android and Banana.

I use the Boss app whenever I don't have one of my TC clip-ons within reach, or a TU-3 at my feet.

GStrings is good.  It went nuts with advertising for a bit, but seems ok again now.  Works on dB and some don't.  My TC unitune clip is far better mind

I use Tunable on my iphone, my teacher recommended it.

I have a TC PolyTune Mini on my ‘board, a Snark clip on tuner in the gig bag, and the PolyTune app on my phone. All work great with double bass

The Boss app tuner is totally free of any ad, so it's a great plus.

 

I also have the Peterson Strobe app tuner, but it's not available anymore, at least on Android.

Can't find that one.  Seems to be iPhone only.  Shall try the boss one tho if gstrings goes all commercial or n me again.

I’ve been happy with the Fender Tune app for the last few years on iOS. Also available on Android
