AndyTravis Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Before I start down a path of despair - googling really isn’t giving much of a definitive answer… I use an iPad and GarageBand for my demos. We use a zoom h4n to capture rehearsals, which is fab for that “capturing”. But we recently did a fairly ok band recording track by track which was alright but I did start wondering… in a box at the rehearsal room is a Behringer Uphoria 1820 interface…sat “spare” a) anyone got a quick “yeah I’ve done it” for multitracking simultaneously with GarageBand b) does anyone know if I can hook the umc1820 into an iPad (it has its own psu rather than bus powered) - I think I’d need a USB B to USB C cable to get it into the iPad. or am I just totally off the mark and need to give up… Would be nice to do some live recordings where we can mess with levels after - even just for rough demos so we can add/edit before heading into the real studio Cheers Andy x Quote
