Ampeg SVT7 Pro 1000 watt Amp, two years old
£600

Owned from new, and about two years old. 1000 watts of great SVT tone, in a lightweight 7kg package. A good solid workhorse of an amp, which retails at about £1,100.

The Ultra Hi and Ultra Low boosts really add to the tone, and I never needed to go above noon on the master volume.

Performed perfectly (unlike me) and has never missed a beat (also unlike me).

Comes with superb super-plush carrying case (none more plush??); check out the photos.

Can ship, at your risk/cost, but would prefer to hand over somewhere mutually convenient.

No trades, please.

Here’s the official spec:

Power: 1000 Watt RMS @ 4 Ohms, 600 Watt RMS @ 8 Ohm

These are superb amps. I bought a used one on here as back-up for my beloved Mesa TT-800 but decided to sell the Mesa and keep the Ampeg. It was unanimously declared best of the bunch in a comprehensive amp head shoot-out at our S-W Bass Bash just over a year ago.

GLWTS.
