I wouldn’t be buying if a) I hadn’t needed something to make a difficult inheritance “mine” and b) hadn’t needed to sell a loved bass whilst waiting for the money to arrive and c) a good price Stop laughing @AndyTravis 😁 I’m out, I have paid @lee650 1 Quote
AndyTravis Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I’ve found an ax1b after a while of searching… Haven't had any time with it yet… A quick scroll through the menus may suggest that I’ve mis-remembered it’s abilities Quote
Sean Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Does it count if you buy the exact same bass you regretted selling 4 years ago? It's rare, collectable, 40 years old... Surely that's out of scope? Quote

Surely that's out of scope? LOL, nope, you're screwed. If I don't get a bye for a bass which has been living rent free in my head for 12 years, you certainly don't get a pass for a paltry 4 years. 1 2 Quote

Surely that's out of scope? I agree with @neepheid if I can bow out after years of success as “bang to rights” so can you. The ring of the cash register or the resounding thump of a “funds requested” email from PayPal in your guilty-as-trump inbox is the grim reaper of your hopes of staying off the naughty list, mister nb: I would have tried “I’ve always wanted a five string”, “I’ve never owned a sire”, “it’s my first red bass” and “I did also sell one beforehand for more £ so it’s really net-zero gain and thus technical abstinence” if I thought the jury would go for any of those. I thought it unlikely somehow Edited 2 hours ago by Geek99 Quote
