tauzero Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I already own an Ashbory Mk 2, the original black model, of which there were only 90 made so they're pretty rare. Clive Cherry then made a run of ten Mk 2s with Brazilian mahogany bodies, bookmatched flame maple tops and headstock facing. I've always fancied one of these but with them being so rare, never expected to get one. For some reason, probably because I'd recently mentioned how almost none of my instruments were painted, I had a look on Ebay a few days ago and there it was! One cheeky offer later and it was mine - when it arrived it was missing the unobtanium bridge cover but it had been sitting in a shop waiting to be sold on commission and the cover had got left there, so it's on its way to join me. 4 Quote
