Vex Fuzzolo on Bass Review

I picked a Fuzzolo a couple months ago and figured I’d throw some appreciated for the pedal on here as my first post.

 

i was on the hunt for a very small Brassmaster/ gated fuzz and all arrows pointed to the woolly mammoth or mastotron (as the apparently it has a blend function that suits bass well) but once I found out that the Fuzzolo has the same circuit as the woolly mammoth and a switch inside to make it bass friendly, I thought my prayers had been answered.

They had, it’s an amazing pedal that sounds super buzzy and great for synthy tones, I truly love it. It does require some serious taming, I thought it was broke for days before I managed to get to play nicely with my bass but behind a OC-5 it sounds fabulous.
