It's had fretwork (level and dress), a fret polish, a full set up and new strings. The pickups have quickfit solder-less connectors so you can change out the pickups easily.  The cavity has been lined with copper and the fingerboard has been oiled with Crimson Guitars Fretboard Restorative (you should get some, it's lovely).

It's a very good, great quality J bass built by Cortek in Indonesia. It's a cracking bass as it is and is also a superb platform for modding. The bridge is fantastic, its the full G&L design, loads of sustain and really easy to use.

Weight is: 4.3kg, 9lb 10oz.

Collection in Gloucester or meet somewhere or I can deliver if not too far.

I like that system of remember what strings you’ve put on & when 😁 I’ve had one of these and they’re absolutely class - really liked the pickups in them too, much better than Sire/Squier etc at the same money for me

In years gone by you would have laughed your head off to get a bass of this quality for this amount of money...

Bargain waiting to be had!!

I love G & L basses, had i not been on a diet bass wise this would be a killer deal. The G & L hi mass bridge is a design classic and the necks are super slim if memory serves.  Not the bass to climb over to get to a squier or Sire for sure.  Take looks at Rithchie Kotzens 'riot' video' for a G&L J in action...(and a stupifyingly tricky bassline)

It's not often Richie K is mentioned on BC! I absolutely love him. Always make the effort when he's in the UK.

Trades for a Yam TRBX 5 or Ibanez SR 5 or similar "modern" 5 considered.
