Not sure where to post this so ……

Two of these popped up on FB marketplace today

One at £800 and one at £495!

The guy selling at £800 is getting a bit of stick!

The £495 bass is in Gateshead

Theres that old saying ‘Like buses’

it is FB marketplace though, so both could be total b@ll&cks 😳

Or simply put, one is needing money when the other is trying to make some...

It wasn’t so much about the price, more that two came up, but it is that time of the year!

Yep, it's that time indeed. 😉

I received mine last week and all I can say is that it's a very good bass for the money.

I've just seen a comment on a youtube vid that apparently Joe has said there will be a run of these every year now.

I can't find the original, but I'm hoping it's true.

Aye.

I want one, and I'm happy to look at used ones, even when the price sensibly takes into account the actual landed price, but those eijits listing theirs for £800+ can do one.

It's on a Scott's Bass Lessons short on YouTube. Not sure how to link a short, but just look for the one with Joe Dart on the thumbnail on the channel. He says they'll be doing all three as Sterlings.

I’d like to try one, I just hope it’s a better offering than the OLP Tony Levin and the Fleabass from a few years ago. Both budget signature basses and mine were both dreadful.

It's an excellent bass, absolutely nothing wrong with it and even at the price paid across the pond, it's still a fair one according to the overall quality and tone.

Mine is astonishing every body trying it.

Mine came directly from San Louis Obispo, the Ernie Ball factory, so I guess it's true, and a bit stupid as the instruments have to go there from Indonesia and then are sent individually through FedEx to their buyer...

Apparently, they put the flatwound strings at the Ernie Ball facility and make the setup too.

I think I've reached my personal pollution quota in late December for a complete year because of this purchase...
