Warwick Dolphin Pro 1 5 Fretless (1995) £2200 Germany

Hi, here we have a 1995 Warwick Dolphin Pro I Fretless. This model features one of the most unique body shapes from the manufacturer. The body is made of ovangkol with an ovangkol neck through design. Warwick has included their MEC J/TJ pickups in this body to help really capture all the clarity this piece of wood has to offer. 

This Warwick Dolphin Pro 1 is in very good condition and sounds amazing!!!

Bass comes in the original Warwick Roadcase.

 

Price is 2650€ / £ 2200

 

I have played this bass at Disillusions 'a day by the lake'  

 

 

and 'and the mirror cracked' (04:15 )

Because on the first edition something like 30~35 years ago, the fingerboard inlays were dolphins. 😉

There was no fretless version way back in 1989 when it was first released, even if Hans-Peter Wilfer is also pretending that the body shape is reminiscent of a dolphin (that he certainly never saw and had to put dolphin inlays for clarification). ☝🏻🤓

You can get fretless versions with inlays if you requested; I have had one, so I can state that as fact.  However, the Dolphin is not a common bass and the fretless version was/is even rarer again.

Where is the bass located exactly? I saw that the band you posted with it is from Germany.
