bullitproof Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Not sure if this was shared here in the past but it looks like it's been for sale for a while. Much cheaper than the one that's half way sanded down. https://www.gbase.com/gear/fender-precision-bass-lefty-1969-sunburst This was meant to be sent to the Southpaw Spotted area but looks like it's not there 😅 Edited January 4 by bullitproof Quote

Maybe the neck's been re-varnished/re-fretted and someone botched the decal replacement? All the lefty precisions I've seen from that period simply have the Fender Logo on them 1 Quote
chris_b Posted January 9 Posted January 9 That's not a Fender logo. My guess is it's a replacement neck. 1 Quote
Reggaebass Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Yeah the logo is wrong, I’d ask to see the neck heel stamp, and all the other serial numbers before thinking about that one Quote
LeftyJ Posted Thursday at 20:00 Posted Thursday at 20:00 Yep. It's not uncommon for lefty Fenders from that era to have just the brand name in the headstock, but just the model name? Very unlikely. 2 Quote
