Reluctant sale of a great and unique bass, but I'm just not using it anymore.

 

A couple of years ago I was in a band that needed fretless 5 on a few songs and I couldn't find anything I liked.    I had this bass as a backup which I really enjoyed playing, so I decided to get it defretted!

 

I went to Ian and Malone Guitars and he did the work for me - and did a really first class job.  There's a great video on Instagram of his work here:

Sadly the band is no more, I'm doing way more tech and sound work than playing, and need to raise some cash for putting this up for sale.

 

Weighs in at 4kg or 8lb 14oz according to my kitchen scales.

 

Fitted with flatwound D'Addario Chromes and has a really lovely action and sound.  Excellent condition - hardly any signs of use.

 

I do have a box that I could post it out in at the purchasers cost and risk, but would prefer pickup from Chelmsford or meet up at a reasonable distance!
