Giving up playing (at least live) so am offloading the vast majority of my gear.

This a a very nice GB Rumour which I’m reluctantly selling, but I’m just not using it enough.

Bought from BassBros a few years ago so have used their images as they show it better than mine could! Fitted with blue side & front led’s

Would prefer collection for this, but I do have a hard case and box to shop it in, but I would want to make sure that the shipping costs included insurance up to its full value, so it wouldn’t be cheap.

Any questions just ask.

Beautiful...you'll be sorry...

I sold my 4 string during one of my downsizing episodes...didn't work...just spent the money on more gear and lost one of the best basses I'd ever owned...

If you're interested in a trade..

Cheers TheGreek, this is one of the best basses I’ve owned, but I’ve stopped getting emotionally attached to them anymore. It’s a lovely thing, but not what I need anymore.

Not really looking for trades as I’m “downsizing”

I’ve lusted after a Rumour 4 for a while but they just don’t seem to come up🫤 that’s a lovely looking bass GLWTS (I’ll stop short of saying “this won’t hang around for long” as nothing seems to be moving)🤷‍♂️

Goodfellow looks right up there with the best, in what world is a Wal worth £7k plus with basses like this? (Of course……IMHO🤣🤷‍♂️

Indeed…….is it £5k better???

I've owned two Wal basses but they did not compare to the GB Rumour 4 I had for playability, aesthetics or tone...

Yes, Wal basses have that distinctive "Wal tone" but if you don't want that specifically I'd recommend a Rumour all day long.

Anybody have a spare kidney I can offer Rowley in exchange??

I've owned a Rumour 5 and serial 001 original Nightingale 5 (the first Rumour body shaped bass built by Bernie), and I regretted parting with both all those years back, but such is life! Just wish I had some pics of them still! If I had the cash now, I'd have already bought this, sadly I am just not in a position to get this! Guess I'll have to try sell some hifi gear of something? Will be watching this one! I'd say good luck with the sale, but I want it too much! ;)

Cheers
