PaulThePlug Posted Saturday at 13:56 Posted Saturday at 13:56 @prowla Son has an old Mac Book thanks to the generosity of our @rwillett - Son us well into his MusicTech A Level Faceache can sort the right version of Logic for your version of OS etc. Then a Focusrite 2!2 (2 Dual Inputs instead of the Solo version with 1x 1/4 and 1x XLR) From CackConverters for £60ish? 1 1 Quote

As for interface , Behringher Uphoria Umc 22 is cheap and cheerful .only 2 inputs and no midi , but is straightforward to use . 2 Quote

I started with Garageband and a little Berhringer 4-channel mixer with USB. A cheap way to get into digital music, though I found Garage Band a slippery slope to Logic Pro. Reaper seems pretty good though - we have to use it next year at uni so I've been starting to use it. 1 Quote

The UMC204HD is good too, and has MIDI and two XLR/jack inputs rather than the one XLR and one jack of the UMC22. 1 Quote
