snorkie635 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Wondering if you chaps/chapesses, might have any suggestions? Bass won't fit into Mono or Harvest bags, as it is a 'point' model with extra wood at the body end of it. I have a hard case for it, but it's like lugging my wardrobe around. Anyway, here's hoping someone with a similar S1, S2 or MK bass can give me an idea. Ta muchly in advance. Snorks 1 Quote
Mike Brooks Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Yessir, the Mono Vertigo M80-VEB-BLK and the Reunion Blues Continental Voyager Electric Bass Case. Both will accommodate the near 50-inch headstock to point length. Mike Quote
Piers_Williamson Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I fear not. I had an MK for about 20 years and was on a similar quest. I just got used to the wardrobe in the end (if you'll forgive the pun). I think one of my pre-requisites now in my dotage is that whatever bass I have, it must fit in a Mono. 1 Quote

I bought the Mono Vertigo M80-VEB-BLK because it was one of only two I could find that my MK signature Standard did fit into... with half an inch to spare! Mike 1 Quote
Mike Brooks Posted January 9 Posted January 9 And now the Continental Blues Voyager bag has been discontinued...doh! Mike Quote

BassManGraham Posted Monday at 18:12 Posted Monday at 18:12 REUNION BLUES CV case is the best, REUNION BLUES OXFORD GIG BAG is a close second and considerably less expensive. I have Monos which are very good, but for larger Alembics the REUNION BLUES cases & bags win hands down and are the only ones I've found to fit the bill. My 20th Anniversary & Mark King Signature Balanced K body, fit comfortably and are well protected. I use Monos for my Epics which are a fair bit smaller. Good luck 1 Quote
BassManGraham Posted Monday at 18:25 Posted Monday at 18:25 A Mark King and an Orion (with rare Crown headstock) and a 20th Anniversary all fit very comfortably in Reunion Bags & cases I find Monos two tight for comfort for the larger Alembics Look no further. BTW I am not affliated with Reunion Blues in anyway. Cheers 4 Quote
Dan Dare Posted Tuesday at 12:37 Posted Tuesday at 12:37 Just saw that ridiculous pointy bit off the end and use a normal gig bag 😃 1 Quote
