Harley Benton MB-4 - Project/Spares
£75
East Herts

Bought for a project that I lost interest in.

In almost unmarked condition, with a really nice wood grain.

Has also had a battery box routed out and it looks to have been done professionally.

these are out of stock at the moment on Thomann and if you are looking to buy one simply to upgrade it, this is a good alternative.

current weight without electronics is 3.5 kg

Will be shipped with the neck removed to keep costs down.

I put some strings on to give it a quick test and the neck seems fine, but I can’t guarantee anything as I’ve not finished it. Personally, I think the price of admission is worth it for the body alone.

£75 delivered to mainland UK only or picked up for discount

Was asked if a standard fender neck would fit on this body.

Seems to be one fret longer than a standard fender neck. you might have to move the bridge back a little bit to compensate, but there looks like there’s more than enough room. You might be able to see the side screw holes though.

Although there might be enough adjustment in the bridge saddles to allow you not to have to move the bridge back.IMG_1319.thumb.jpeg.d666fbb98e844631a0bfaa26ac3a7bfc.jpegIMG_1320.thumb.jpeg.d703e5cd0c96cba83b78e7e4a3074795.jpegIMG_1322.thumb.jpeg.533d268791901a2588c978ab35b91b27.jpegIMG_1323.thumb.jpeg.ed78bd4c3aa22828376868ad2ad24a69.jpegIMG_1324.thumb.jpeg.07ebbb8581912a5cd806950f5cf869e0.jpeg
