Tort with blue?  Definitely not.

I think I'm in the minority here.

Lovely looking bass though.  LPB and a rosewood fretboard, really nice.

Same. Has to be white guard with blue. But I seem to be in a minority of people who really can’t stand tort guards.

You are. I’ll order some tar and feathers from Amazon. Will probably need to put it on subscribe and save given all the tort-refuseniks around here. 🙄

Okay then, now I know which particular area of England to avoid when I'll be visiting the UK someday 👀

I like tort with a yellow, brown or red bass but not with blue.  I have a tidepool Jazz and I struggled to find a pick guard that worked.  Eventually ordered a flashy pick guard from Korea, via Etsy.

Thinking of adding a tug bar in the usual P Bass position below the neck. Just for aesthetics like the added picture.

Still planning on the EMG geezer pickup.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the ashtray bridge cover?

Rear routed body and no scratchplate - it's the only way to go. Scratchplates are an abomination.
