Stunning piece of kit but I'm gigging DB very little this year and am simplifying my EQ and amplification gear/processes. This was bought in 2023 ad has done perhaps 20 gigs max, each time with the Ear Trumpet Nadine mic also for sale. Case is built like the proverbial. Price includes UK courier

Ha ha, yes exactly how I was before I bought mine, then I realised just how much I did need it; feedback tamed, authentic upright tone coming through the PA, studio desk quality preamp functions but in stomp-box form, small, light, built like a tank, and makes pretty much any other instrument you want to put into it - bass guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle - sound a whole lot better with the same control over feedback etc. I know that if/when I start gigging upright again I'll miss it. Even though I have few nice mics and a decent desk, I'm still going to have to slum it a bit

Never been happier than with my Alix. Using a mic more often and this is severely tempting! Anyone pondering it, you won't regret it!

I have the Mark 1. It's the best preamp and the best DI I've ever owned. It's so good I also bought a BiX for my small, travel light pedal board. GLWTS!

Having the pelican case is a big plus too. Last year I got a similar deal on a 'as new' Mark1 that had been returned unopened. I use it with a GR powered speaker. Highly recommend this bit of gear. I sometimes blend an ischell mic with my Full Circle but it sounds great with just the FC. Also used it on a doubling gig with bass guitar and double. GLWTS

Thanks guys, yes this is a decent piece of kit, in an ideal World it would be staying but I'm currently in - and thoroughly enjoying being in - a rather fluid musical project that requires relatively frequent change of gear (living the Basschat dream) and this preamp and really doesn't figure for the foreseeable future 👍

And don't underestimate what this will do to a Precision with flats either
