A couple of years ago I bought a Hamer Cruisebass; it was a second year run and came without a scratchplate...always wanted a scratchplated one.  Had a short dialogue with Tim at Gig.Ink, got a scan if a plate from a chap in the USA and got one cut.  Arrived today.

Before and after vanity shots below.  I am so happy.

Cheers, bonny lad!

For the record, if you need a guard cut, hit Tim up.  Great comms, top work!  I think he laser cuts on clear acrylic, so you can have pretty much any design you want.

Top bloke!

I was looking at a new scratch plate for a Peavey I paid £50 for. Seems like I will stick with the white as a £50 scratch plate on a £50 bass?

Congrats on the Peavey, & fully appreciate value is very different to cost - especially with a unique handmade scratchplate - perhaps you could make one yourself?

Has it got a scratch plate on it already? There's loads of different types and designs of self adhesive vinyl you can jazz it up with for a couple of quid a roll.......🤔😉👍

That's what sticky back plastic was invented for.
