I know a bassplayer who owns an Akai-looper and it has the nice feature that you can go back to your first layer without everything on top of it, which is very handy.
Anyone know if this pedal has the same possibility ?

I have the same pedal (hence why my guitarist got one) and yes you can cancel all of the additional loops on top of the original one.
