Veils Posted Monday at 21:58 Posted Monday at 21:58 (edited) I found this beauty on eBay a while back, being sold by a fella in Japan. It’s a 2022 masterbuilt, but it had just been sat doing nothing and never bought or owned by anyone. I wasn’t in the market for a new bass (I am picking up a new Shuker any day now), but the opportunity to get this at about 40% of the list price (yes, Warwick list prices are silly) couldn’t be ignored. I have owned other Warwick basses and other high end basses, but this is something else. My iphone pictures won’t do it justice. It feels stunning, the neck is silky and plays like butter and it’s so beautiful to look at. Hope you all like it! Edited Monday at 21:59 by Veils 19 Quote
Veils Posted Monday at 22:31 Author Posted Monday at 22:31 It had been sat in a parcelforce depot for some time. They didn’t bother to contact me to say it was there, had I left it another few days it would have been sent back to Japan! Hope you’re keeping well mate 1 Quote
eude Posted yesterday at 08:24 Posted yesterday at 08:24 That is magnificent! I've well and truly gone way down the custom rabbit hole to be all that interested in a lot of other basses these days, but I will always have a thing for Warwicks, and that is a super fine example, congratulations! (also very much looking forward to seeing this new Shuker of yours when it lands!) Cheers, Eude 1 Quote
thodrik Posted yesterday at 10:05 Posted yesterday at 10:05 Stunning bass that. A custom Warwick is on my wish-list, love the red finish. Quote
Terry M. Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Wow that's beautiful. Play it in good health. I have a Stage 1 Broadneck 5 that I'm in love with so can really appreciate this stunner 😊 Quote
Veils Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Thanks chaps! I was always super sceptical about Warwick masterbuilt just because of the ridiculous prices. I think the list on this is somewhere north of €8000, which I wouldn’t pay in a million years. I can most definitely vouch for the quality though, this thing feels incredible, it has that beautiful resonance when it’s not plugged in and it’s a real looker. Will definitely post the Shuker when it arrives. I’m off to visit my mum in Edale soon, that will be my time to pick up from Jon. 2 Quote

Terry M. Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago But seriously under 8Ibs (3.28kg) is really good 👍 Quote
Veils Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago I can pop it on the bathroom scales. Not sure how accurate they are though, they keep telling me I’m getting heavier. 3 Quote
Kev Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Congrats! The Masterbuilt Warwicks are truly different instruments to the ones that came before, they feel like incredibly premium instruments. 1 Quote
