Mr Randall Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Hi there. I've recently bought one of the above and love it. Great sound and also ultra light. I thought I'd give the effects loop a go but there's only one socket rather than two... the manual states 'a TSR Jack is provided for use with a Y cable (tip send ring return)'. As I bought this second hand I haven't got the TSR jack. Can anyone shed any light on how I get the loop working? Quote
jrixn1 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 A TRS jack carries both the send and receive signals. You need to split it out with a 'Y' aka 'splitter' cable; e.g. https://custom-lynx.co.uk/product/pc24-_-rean/ Plug the TRS jack into the amp's effects socket. Plug the send jack (probably the red one) into your external effects send socket, and the return jack into the effects return socket. 1 Quote
Mr Randall Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 (edited) Thank you so much - really grateful! I've never heard of a one jack effects loop before.... Edited January 21 by Mr Randall Quote
BassmanPaul Posted January 23 Posted January 23 (edited) The required Y cable should be available at almost any "stereo" store o big box store such as Walmart. I'm sure you have those over there. Edited January 23 by BassmanPaul 1 Quote
