Tragic.  I never met him in person but we've messaged over the years and I felt like I knew him and he was a friend, which says something about him as a person.

Thoughts with his family and friends.

Very saddened to hear this news about Nick, I knew him reasonably well, he was definitely one of the good guys and excellent bass player, Nick introduced me to BASSCHAT and MarkBass.

RIP.

I'm not sure whether I ever met him IRL   - I think I did.

It's always sad when things like this happen.

I'm always a bit clumsy with my words in these situations.

RIP Nick

A very sad day...Nick and I shared a birthday (28th December) and we would always text each other on the day.

I have nothing but good memories of him...

RIP Nick..

Absolutely crushed. A wonderful gent with a big heart and so friendly and supportive.  His advice and encouragement whenever I was stuck with bass related problems was always so encouraging and uplifting. Rest in peace Nick.

I'm going to move this to GD, in common with other RIP threads, and remove the word 'missing' from the title. I hope nobody minds.

A very, very sad day.
