Dark Stage

I play a couple of places on a regular basis, and they both make the black hole of Calcutta look like a Christmas Tree.

Can't see my hand in front of my face. Now as I'm reading for most of the gig it's not the end of the world but I do need to check my hand position now and then. 

So this is my solution.

It's a rechargeable light intended for reading but fits rather neatly on my strap.

My venues are less salubrious...

Some people, don't know they are born. We have enough trouble trying to get them to turn the normal lights off, a couple of places we have to unscrew the bulbs!

I have one of these and never thought to use it for this.  But I will.

 

Also ideal for finding your way to the loo in hotel rooms without blinding her indoors.

How do you mount it on the strap? Does the light unit unscrew from the goose neck clip?

Sorry I missed this. I used the clip on the underside of my strap so it's hidden.

Added a cable tie just for my peace of mind.
