Quatschmacher Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) If anyone subscribes to the Source Audio email list, you will have seen that they teased a new pedal which will be shown in their NAMM booth over the next few days. As I do beta testing for them, I already know what this is, but won’t add details here until they’ve made it public or other sources show it. It’s always fun to hear people’s thoughts, wishes and speculations. Edited Sunday at 01:27 by Quatschmacher Quote

HoorayForAnonyms Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I’ll dust of my prediction from last time; a dual modulation pedal. 😀 1 Quote

GisserD Posted January 24 Posted January 24 There's not much they don't have. I hope its an intelligent harmoniser. 2 Quote

thisisswanbon Posted Saturday at 23:23 Posted Saturday at 23:23 I can't believe this hasn't been outed yet! Talk about anticipation! Quote
Quatschmacher Posted Sunday at 01:25 Author Posted Sunday at 01:25 (edited) I’ve still had no official word that I can talk about this but someone has posted from the show: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/source-audio-prototype-at-namm.2620008/page-4#post-40180070 Edited Sunday at 01:28 by Quatschmacher 3 Quote
HoorayForAnonyms Posted Sunday at 02:02 Posted Sunday at 02:02 (edited) Looks cool. I’d imagine will be a big hit with guitarists. I can see why this was developed after the Artifact. Seems like a safer release that will have greater mass appeal. I’m interested by the mention of a global editor where you can play all Source Audio pedals. Is this refering to a plug-in suite. Now that would be great! Edited Sunday at 02:03 by HoorayForAnonyms Quote

If you look closely, these are all engines not found in Collider. Like Collider, most are drawn from Nemesis and Ventris but there are a couple of brand new algorithms in here. Quatschmacher Posted Monday at 21:24 Author Posted Monday at 21:24 Some further info from Niko (posted on TGP): Since you all have access to the engine names now due to the leaked photo, I might as well go through em all. -Hypersphere - brand new -Shimmers - brand new -Trem Verb - brand new -Reverse - drop-in from Ventris -Lo-Fi - drop-in from Ventris with some tweaks -Swell - reworked (has the same base but some brand new modes) -Helix - drop-in from Nemesis -Kaliedoscope - mostly new, but started as Offspring from Ventris -Echoverb - reworked -Drum Echo - fully re-imagined from Nemesis -Resonant - fully re-imagined from Nemesis -Noise Tape - drop-in from Nemesis with some tweaks So there's more new than old in here. It's not like the Collider which was 100% dropped in from Nemesis and Ventris. 2 Quote
