franzbassist Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It's this one, made for Thomann by Music Area. The reason I ask is a Dingwall-branded one came with my new Dingwall bass and it is a superb bag. If these are made to the same spec then they are a steal at that price. Quote
MichaelDean Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I think they are the same, but with the Thomamn branding. It's at the top of my list for a replacement gigbag. 1 Quote
Hellzero Posted January 27 Posted January 27 The original is way more expensive plus you have to add the shipping cost and the taxes... https://musicarea.com/products/rb30-electric-bass-case Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I bought one of the thomann ones for my 4003 recently. Its a really nice case and the Ric fits in it perfectly. I wanted something with a bit more padding than the ones I already had and this looked perfect. I will use it for rehearsals & gigs where I'll be driving and can safely put the bass across the back seat of my car rather than taking the bulky rickenbacker case. LeftyJ Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I always thought they looked great, and that separate front pouch was based on the Mono "the Tick" which, at Mono, is an expensive accessory! If it's the same size it will comfortably house a Pedaltrain Nano. Quote
