fretmeister Posted Monday at 08:58 Posted Monday at 08:58 The bridge crews on my bitsa stick out a lot. What is the best way to cut them down? Hacksaw? Dremel type thing? ta Quote
Hellzero Posted Monday at 09:50 Posted Monday at 09:50 (edited) Which screws ? The ones for the bridge itself or the saddle height screws ? Edited Monday at 09:51 by Hellzero Quote
franzbassist Posted Monday at 10:16 Posted Monday at 10:16 Surely it's easier to just buy new? They are cheap as chips! 2 Quote
Bigguy2017 Posted Monday at 10:27 Posted Monday at 10:27 Like franzbassist said, best is to buy a selection of screws in Long, Med, Short. Do the bass setup and when you're happy, replace the screws with ones of best length - keep the 'wrong uns' for later use. This plan works best when you have many basses using the same type of screws... 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted Monday at 10:32 Author Posted Monday at 10:32 I had no idea that shorter ones could be purchased! So obvious! If anyone has a link before I trust google that would be very useful. Quote
