The sound is absolutely monstrous, it cuts through the mix like nothing else, with insane clarity and depth. I’m truly gutted, but I’m selling it for one simple reason : while playing seated is fine, playing standing up unfortunately brings back a serious tendinitis issue in my left shoulder. It makes it impossible for me to play for long periods or handle back-to-back gigs. Up until now, I hadn’t noticed the issue because my band was on a short break, and I was mainly playing seated in front of my computer. First rehearsal back tonight, and after an hour, the pain became unbearable… With a busy gig schedule ahead, I just can’t take the risk of breaking down mid-tour. I bought this bass brand new, hoping it would be my “go-to” workhorse, but reality had other plans.
