I remember the first day in snowed in Detriot amd Windsor (Canada). It was carnage on the I94. Air bag city with abandoned crashed cars every mile or so.

 

Don't let anyone tell you that other countries don't have problems when in snows.

The Cougar was developed in Europe but built in the US. Strangely, Europe got it first, and it was released a year later in the US as a Mercury, back before Ford shuttered the brand. Under the bodywork, it’s basically a Mk1 Mondeo.

You may be right but I'm not privy to the costing of a cab. There are likely other imported components too.

Most Ford cars made for North America start off as ideas from Ford UK.  That’s the design brain of the operation worldwide, at least for the cars. 
 

Ford has usually embraced its international reach. The Escort was called a “world car,” the Fusion (the North American name for the Mondeo) I think also had something similar when it was introduced in the western hemisphere, and the people who thought this ad up, from the golden age of globalism, would probably be dissapeared nowadays by the White House or doxxed by Musk’s team of incels:

That used to be true but now the early design and prototyping for US models is done by Rousch and other automotive R&D companies. The initial concept may come from Europe (we want a 5 seat SUV that looks vaguely like this and costs $40,000) but the concept is turned in to a car in the US. I worked with Rousch on the latest Mustang and a range of Lincolns that didn't get to production.

Indeed. All that has been achieved so far is removing intelligence and allowing Putin to re-take Kursk.

The purpose of a ceasefire would be to discuss the terms for peace. Putin has flipped it around to make the terms for peace and his reasons for invasion the criteria for a ceasefire.

Nothing has happened. He’s always been like this. There are 2 interpretations to his desire to create enhanced humans and explore space.

One is that he is a maverick genius pushing the boundaries of technology and science. The other is that he basically despises ordinary people and wants a home for the elites once earth is robbed of all its resources.

Well, up until recent weeks I'd viewed him as an entrepreneur and innovator.

The facade appears to have slipped and now he comes across more as a wrecker and supremacist.
