A friend of ours, Ben Hood,  has had his van full of gear stolen from the Car Park of the Meadow Hall Travel Lodge in Sheffield, I think last Friday night.

Could everyone keep an eye for anything matching these descriptions for sale, please. Particularly in the South Yorkshire area.

Details as below:

Really sorry to hear that, very bad news, and in particular with personal instruments involved 😩🤕😔

Hope this has a happy ending 🤞🏼

Oh man, this happened to me and a band I was in during the 80s. Our van was fully loaded overnight ready for a gig the following day. In the morning, it was gone, with all our gear in it. Heartbreaking.

I hope this has a happier ending.

Damn. Must be a market for dog sitting services. As in, my Rottweiler is happy sleeping in your van for a big bag of biskits and a couple of tickets. Put him back in my front gate on your way out of town.

That's terrible.
Hotels need to start providing 100% secure parking.

I’m not sure how that’s possible with guests requesting 24/7 access.

When I was heading to Europe for a tour, the hotel manager allowed us to put all of our gear in a conference room.

Turns out the Sky cycling team were staying at the same hotel and all their £13k Pinarellos were in there as well.

Its easy to be judgemental here, but we’ve all left stuff in cars and vans I guess and it’s a horrid feeling.
