Dien_Verstraete Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hello, I have been using my Trace Elliot ELF amp for the first time last weekend on a smaller gig, as I have been using it for rehearsal. When we connected the DI to the PA-board, the speaker output didn't work anymore ... Does anyone know if that is the standard setup of the ELF? I couldn't find it in the manual. So, it looks like it is OR speaker output OR DI out, but not both together ... Is that correct? I guess that problem doesn't exist on the TE-1200, as I am considering to buy a TE-1200. Would be great to find out the answer. Can anyone help, pls? Thank you so much!! Cheerz Quote
Suburban Man Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I used an Elf for a while, DI output didn’t affect speaker output at all, Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I have an elf incoming. I'll check this also Quote
King Tut Posted February 5 Posted February 5 That’s not working properly. They should both work together. I’ve gigged one a few times with a cab and di out. Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted February 5 Posted February 5 You aren't taking the di signal from the headphone socket by any chance? 2 Quote

King Tut Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Dumb question, but when you plugged into the board are you sure you had the volume AND gain controls turned up? Was your speaker lead connected both ends? Quote
