I've just ordered one and will report back with my options when it arrives.

I used Taurus bass amps and speakers about 10 years ago and really enjoyed their sound and build quality.

Looks good and sounds good on the clip, seems it’s a pedal that doesn’t go from clean to Lenmy without anything inbetween, ideal for those of us who just want to take off the edge of a completely clean sound.

That's my thought also. Take the edge of a clean sound.

Have they got a UK dealer?

I don't think so.

It's direct sales from their website.

It’s the sort of utilitarian pedal I dig. I have a markbass compressore which adds the warm tube stage, a little bit of tube character and I’ve heard it can even do compression - but she’s a hefty lass. This sound’s like similar in the ball park tones with a tiny footprint in comparison.  Looking forward to the thoughts once you’ve had a chance to give it a whirl.

I'm interested in this one too. Not a drive pedal per se, but adds some harmonic content none the less.

This is exactly what it does.

To my ears it added lots of compression, a thickness to the 100hz to 300hz region and slight hair to your bass signal.

The big knob in the centre just blends in your clean tone to balance the sound to your preference. I found the best position was at between 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock.

The punch toggle is also fantastic at boosting levels to add harmonic richness to the bass signal.

I'm very very impressed with this pedal.

Sounds exactly like a valve amp.

It's so good that it's replaced my overdrive and compressor pedals in one go.

My board is shrinking. The Taurus Servo replaced two pedals in one go.

FYI.... It works much better as the first pedal in your chain. If you use a tuner pedal before it, make sure it is true bypass when turned off. This will effect how the Taurus sounds.

 Hope this helps.😀

Sounds like it’s doing a grand job! I’m interested! I’m gonna sound daft but there is a valve in it right?

Yes there is a miniature valve inside.

I gigged the pedal last night and it was great. The sound was warm, detailed and cut through the mix fantastically.

The biggest difference was using the Punch toggle switch. With it fully engaged the bass guitar cut through and I could hear ever note with clarity and definition.

It's a wonderful pedal and is staying put on my pedal board.
