RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Wow! This seems to be unravelling from the Black Sabbath performance , to another ozzfestt to what looks like "a tribute to "Show.(If it still goes ahead ) No doubt the DVD / record/ cd / download releases will make it sound and possibly look like a very energetic show. More money for Sharon . The poor punters killing themselves to give . ( to charidee:) Quote

skychaserhigh Posted February 9 Posted February 9 They should have billed it as a tribute show with an appearance from Ozzy. Everyone would have known what to expect. 1 Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted February 12 Posted February 12 After 90 minutes in the O2 presale today, all that was left were two "ultimate side of stage experience" tickets. A mere £2932.50 each. Sadly I'd already decided to set my spending limit at £2930. Yeah, I know... tightarse. 2 12 Quote
Crusoe Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Much as I'd love to see the original Sabbath lineup, along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax all on the same bill, I just can't afford that sort of money for tickets and accomodation 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Just paid £50 for a Hawkwind ticket (after fees and buyer protection). Felt that was STEEP! 3 Quote
Musicman666 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 it's going to be game to see which one collapses first ..ozzy just has to sing but bill has to drum, and it's not easy drumming. Quote

I'd imagine Mike Bordin will do most of the drumming and Bill will do the odd tune here and there. 3 Quote
MichaelDean Posted February 14 Posted February 14 One of the guitarists in my band bought a membership to the Aston Villa women's team and a premiership ticket for £42 in total in order to access the pre-sale! He's got two standing tickets now. 4 1 Quote
Skybone Posted February 14 Posted February 14 So I joined the queue at position 188-odd thousand, waited for about an hour and a bit, only to find out that there were no tickets left. Hey ho. Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted February 14 Posted February 14 villa park only has a 40k capacity I'm told, so bearing in mind all the presales there have been.... I wonder if anyone bought the side stage golden circle tickets for 3K? Quote
binky_bass Posted Monday at 07:06 Posted Monday at 07:06 (edited) Of course announced AFTER tickets have sold out... I mean it was fairly obvious his appearance would be very limited, and tickets would have sold out even if they said this before hand, but doing so directly after tickets have sold out feels very underhanded. "Underhanded" is being generous! 3 Quote

grapefruitmoon Posted Monday at 12:39 Posted Monday at 12:39 My other half managed to get tickets on Friday somehow, £170 each. Looking forward to the lineup but I said when it was announced I'd be very surprised if Ozzy manages to do anything at all. I'm currently living with my dad who has Parkinson's and seeing it every day. I imagine he'll get wheeled on and hopefully be able to speak, but can't imagine for a second he'll be able to sing. Thing with Parkinsons is it's different each day, each hour. Horrible thing. 1 5 Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted yesterday at 12:23 Posted yesterday at 12:23 (edited) Seems like the wheels of confusion are still spinning . If Ozzy is as sick as constantly stated , one wonders how/ why he is able to have his own set before the headliners. Will he be sitting on his throne , or be a hologram!.? Possibly both? Will the other bands just play solely sabbath songs ? It'll probably be a really good gig bar one or two bands , if you're into outdoor gigs . I'll probably watch the pay per view , if the price is not outrageous .. Edited yesterday at 12:29 by RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Quote
