Bassy Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Hi, I like the look of the p-retro, but I don't need the rechargeable battery as my P bass already has a battery box. So has anyone tried to run the preamp with a standard 9v pp3, and without the stock rechargeable battery? Quote
Aidan63 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 drop John an email, he will be able to answer that/help, he's a busy man so it might take a day or two for a reply, but if he's in front of his computer he often replies within an hour Quote
simisker Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Yes, it's possible - Alan fitted my ACG Salace with a P-Retro and a battery box. It's a great preamp. Quote
Matt P Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I've been meaning to ask the same question, I've got a P-retro with a failed battery and a bass with a battery box that i'd like to fit it too. Just haven't got round to sending that email. If you can share the info that would be fantastic. Matt Quote
