glassmoon Posted yesterday at 08:19 Posted yesterday at 08:19 Hi all, I've been reading recently, that there is a hack out there that allows any of the MS-x0 range of Zoom pedals to load/have all the other pedal's effects. I've seen that it's a fairly easy process. However, the one I'm interesting in, is a hack, or a rumour of a hack, that allows some, if not all of (our bass world) the MS-60b+ effects to be loaded onto the original MS-60b. Anyone heard anything about it? Is it true at all? I'm in the market to get the 60b+, mostly for the "better" effects, but if I can hack my old faithful... Anyway, my thanks in advance. MichaelDean Posted yesterday at 14:27 Posted yesterday at 14:27 I'd wager that you won't be able to get the 60b+ ones onto the 60b. I don't think the + ones have been hacked yet, and then they're probably going to use a newer processor to handle things which probably won't be compatible with the older version. For example, the B3 effects didn't work with the B3n hardware. 1 Quote

tayste_2000 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not really a hack just an application you run on your computer. Doesn’t work with the new + models and certainly can’t take + fx and put them on the older pedals. Install this https://zoomeffectmanager.com/en/ Plug pedal into computer Swap them out I have a 60b with a bunch of reverbs and synths from the cdr on it. To add an effect you have to sacrifice another as you only have so much space, over time it becomes really difficult to keep track of what you have and what you lost. 1 Quote
glassmoon Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Been playing with that - just to see what it does and doesn't do... I guess this is going to be a LOT of playing around with each and eveery effect that is not on the 60b and seeing what is usable and what is not. There are so many of the 60b's effects that I will never use so "losing them" is not going to be a tough pill to swallow. And I guess a backup of what I currectly have, patch wise, is imperative before doing anything!!! Thanks all Quote
tayste_2000 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yeah start with turning off all the flangers and go from there Quote
MichaelDean Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago One of the things that annoyed me when I added the guitar effects to my B3n was that there were some really good reverbs and delays that were on the guitar version and are essentially universal. Zoom basically said, "Nah, bass players don't want fancy time based effects". I've just counted and there were 9 extra delays and 8 more reverbs. The particle reverb was really cool and I did use it before I moved the pedal on. 1 Quote
tayste_2000 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Particle reverb is the only effect I need on the 60b+ to be happy with it. But since it doesn’t have it I’m debating do I want the amp sims or do I want the particle reverb and a bunch of other stuff I don’t care about. You also lose a synth going with the CDR+ over the B+ Kinda thrown my hands up and decided to get a Quad Cortex 1 Quote
